About

Pamela
Pamela has been painting since childhood taking a variety of community art classes over the years. Her formal training was at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Ma. Here she had the freedom to “see” and “think” outside the box. Self taught in watercolors, she found the medium she’s passionate about.
Many of her saturated, poetic watercolors are a visual metaphor. The “earth egg” series and “worlds within and without” series give pause to see the earth in a different light. The earth is rich and fertile but like an egg, also fragile requiring it to be regarded with consciousness and care.

The awe inherent in nature, imagery gleaned from meditation and the visceral experience listening to jazz combined with the healing power of color are my vehicle for creative expression.
It is my hope that my paintings inspire one to live life in joy and creativity, to honor and celebrate your worlds within and without, embracing the interconnection of one another and all life!

Sabin
Sabin’s formal training was at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah,GA. He is a visionary artist with a love for wood and is drawn to the natural qualities inherent in wood. Before relocating to New England Sabin had a vibrant presence creating and selling his artwork on the River Street artist quarter
of Savannah, GA.
Using mixed media Sabin brings to life odd and varied pieces of wood, portraying an intuitive vision of humanity, social context and culture. Many of these are uniquely rendered “in the round” wrapping the image around more than one surface. This is a challenging technique that is visually intriguing and engaging.

Sabin’s many “music panels” are engaging mixed media works informed by passion for music, discerning research and the social, cultural historical connections.

Double Exposure

With a mutual mastery and passion for color and a keen appreciation for music, Pamela & Sabin began collaborating on artwork while in Savannah. Meshing their distinct individual styles; Sabin drawn to dry medium and Pamela drawn to wet medium an alchemy evolved into a collection of intriguing mixed media works of art.
